I remember 4/4/44. I would have been 9, going on 10 back then. I went barefoot all summer; I was used to walking in dry dirt until the fall of 1943 when the rains came and it stayed wet in 1944 so I walked around all summer with the mud squeezing up between my toes.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
