I'll admit I had the same thought. I just talked myself out of it before convincing myself it was a good idea. Lots of guys here got froze out of fall plowing, including us. I was plowing just fine with maybe 1" of frost in the ground at noon, and by 10 PM it was too deep to get the plow in the ground. Was pulling up chunks of frozen soil 4-5" thick, and broke 1 or 2 cover boards in the process...
Not sure how I'm gonna work it this spring. Probably just go out with the old Glencoe that's got the points on it and just tear it up, instead of trying to plow it now.
