oregon blades are ok it just depends on which class you get. if have fusion or not etc. sell mostly fusion with high lift. the thicker heavier blades i do notpush them since it takes more power to get them going. thinner blades cut better for what we see going thru the shop. blade run from 17.00 to 27.00 dollars a blade here. its same supplier stens,oregon . silver/streak is another. rotary handle same stuff also. we find short lines items to be actually higher than when i get from original brand. the high lift ones will throw more rocks so just beware of that. otherwise stick the basics on and go. two simplest things for mowing keep motor full rpms and sharp blades.
