Tractor seems to be a 9n. Has Ford on the plate at steering wheel with patent numbers. The rear is Ferguson System, large hubs. The serial number on the block is rusted off. I pressed the bearing back in with some lock tite. put the starter back on and it works, for how long??? Got it running, runs great, but has a "whine". I have been reading post and it seems to me that it is a transmission whine. Not sure.
Thanks to everyone that posted to help me. I restore cars and love old Ford Tractors, so thought I would restore this one as it is near original. Sit for years!! Rusty, red and grey, should be grey as I pulled the oil bath and it is gray inside bottom.
