I had to be able to crank my Great Uncle Earl's 1937 John Deere B before I could take it to the fields to cultivate with it.....I was 11 then in 1945. I learned to crank a neighbor's hand start A a year later......thought I was "pretty near a man". (Little did I know).

Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
