Oldest g'daughter volunteered me to drive a tractor selling rides to people at a county fair. She is in 4-H. Drove a Kubota L 5030, I think, which was a sweet little tractor, 4 wd, better power steering than on some cars. Automatic transmission. The lady who drove it before me hadn't driven a tractor before and the one who came after didn't either, but both did fine, slowly. Anyway, wife, daughter, and I were leaving to transfer something from our car to hers and we stopped by a Woodmizer sawmill demo. They were loading a fairly large stack on green lumber on a double axle trailer and stacking the lumber at the back of the trailer, not centered a little ahead of the axles. I told my daughter to look at the load so she would know how NOT to load a trailer and explained the problems that poor loading would cause. To be fair, the trailer was hitched to one in front of of it and both were hitched to a nice JD B, and maybe they were just going to move the lumber to the drive way to transfer it to a truck, but they still could have problems. They were still sawing and loading when I left.
On the same line, I saw a patrol car had a pick up truck with two empty trailers hitched in tandem on my trip to St Louis, guess that's illegal too.

Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
