My 4490, about 1500 hours on complete rebuild starting having a tick, tick, tick noise that I can hear very easy from in the cab, when under load is most noticable. To me it sounds like when my old 1206 or 806 had a bad injector seal. Could this be the problem on the 504 as well? I did have it Dyno"s last winter and had it set to factory hp spec. Is it possible it could need a valve adjustment?? any advice would be appreciated, I am assuming all the shop techs will swamped this next week. Really need the tractor, but do not want to run this way if it could be damaging anything. Engine runs fine otherwise, starts right up, plenty of power, no miss, and no excessive smoke or other symptoms. Thank you in advance for any help.
