Adding to what greg said. Fill your tank with water spray it out and calculate how many acres you covered.
round up as well as all chemicals are sprayed so many oz, pts, or quarts to the acre, not per tank full of water.
Also the amount of Roundup needed is based on the size of the target weeds or grass you want to kill.
Tall weeds need more roundup to kill than small weeds.
Growing conditions also determine how much Roundup is used. 50 degree and 100 degree weather need more Roundup than 80 degree temps.
There is more to spraying than dumping in the chemicals and spraying it.
There are times I use 16 oz. and go as high as 40 oz to the acre.
Then you have the additives to go with the Roundup to get a better kill on weeds. That's a whole other story.
Best to read the label or talk to your local agronomist.
If you buy from a company that sprays and has an agronomist it may be better than buying from a farm fleet store that has no clue what they are selling.
