My brothers step daughter got married. The Guy got a job as a car salesman. The other salesmen made fun of him and called him names. So he quit. He and his wife started a finance company to give car loans to people with bad credit. As far as I can tell they are not wanting for anything that money can buy. Some people have the need to be successful and others only want to meet the minimum standards, regardless of what is asked of them.
As I got better and faster at producing parts, I would have the parts per hour changed to reflect that amount. A person who worked the night shift, moved to a different area because to was to tough for them to make 100%. So I quit changing the standards. At the end of my shift I usually have from 8.5 to 10 hours showing for my 8 hour day. I know that quite a few people only work hard enough to make between 90 and 100% efficiency. BUT, while they think I am the fool, I have learned that to do less makes me unhappy. I need to do the best I can in order to enjoy my job. In the end it is all about ME.
Some people have goals. Others just want money for beer. SDE

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
