Just to be fair I'll take your assumptions as they come in your response. You said," Sorry about your bad experience on buying the bad half a few years back. Kinda got yourself to blame on that one." Since I bought this side of beef from a reputable( we've bought for a couple of years prior) butcher/slaughter house. Unless you expect me to go there with frying skillet/stove in hand to taste test the beef,how do you expect it to be my fault. Unless you think I shouldn't buy beef from a butcher who deals with beef farmers?

I'm sure beef farmers aren't getting what is being charged in grocery store per pound of beef.They sure aren't injecting it with dye and water to increase profits for them and screw the customers.

A little extra is fine, but when beef starts going for the price in ounces as in precious metals and about as tasty and soft as metal, I have the right to complain some. I also have the right to not buy at that price and still be able to eat smart. By researching out beef, I will be sure to ask the butcher the pedigree of where the beef came from, whose lineage of parenting it came from, DNA samples to compare it to the parents, or maybe they make a OBD tool for checking out the beef like they do for autos and other equipment.Since I'm sure there is a port under the tail of beef for plugging in such tools.right?
