I asked for prayers for my brother a week ago, here's what's happened since. My sister-in-law called Monday night. The DR's said he had massive brain damage from his fall and too long on CRP, he's been in a coma since he arrived at hospital. The outlook was poor at best and they had decided to take all the medicine away and let him go peacefully. Tuesday night she called again, I was expecting to here he had passed away. A Dr. came in Tuesday morning and said they need to do a CAT scan, results came back, no brain damage. They changed what they were doing to him and by afternoon, he was awake, following people around the room with his eyes, blinking his eyes in answer to questions. Thursday, they took out the breathing tube in his throat and he was trying to talk. Friday they moved him out of intensive care into a regular room. I talked to his son-in-law today. They are trying to decide what to do for rehab, nursing home or something else. The Good Lord is answering our prayers, please continue to pray for him. He farmed several patches of ground in and around town and drove truck. They are not sure he will ever drive again and will have to carry a oxygen bottle around to breathe. I said it was getting time to get his crops in, maybe they should think about hiring someone to plant his crops for him. He said they had talked about it and his wife has decided to give up all the rented land because she thinks he will never be well enough to farm again. It's her decision, I WILL NOT get involved in this, BUT, when he is well enough to know what happened, he is gonna be super pizzed! He is stubborn and bull headed and can be a major azz hole when he wants to. She is gonna have her hands full for sure. Please keep the prayers coming, Thanks, Chris
