25 miles away some folk are done with corn, waiting for it to dry out to start beans, THen they will replant corn. Some has been in over 3 weeks over there, and under standing water 4 times now, with the cold and overcast there will be replanting.....
Lot of puddles around here and cool days, in my local neighborhood not much has been done yet. I pushed a little and got 3 acres of corn planted so far.
Had .6, .85, .25, and .8 of rains the past few days, and was barely good to go before that, had the wife harrow a bit the day the rains started, she got sticky tires a few times and had to circle one spot.
Supposed to rain this afternoon again.
Yet another long spring, nothing done, too dang wet and cold.
