I personally think that a new cutting edge would make that thing good as new... If you don't want to buy a new new one, then you can try going to your local independent highway department, or something to that nature. I needed one for a 6 foot blade on time, and I went in to ask if I could order a new one through them, and the guy took me outside and he had about 30 or 40 of them that were no longer fit for one of the big road graders, but I thought they looked really nice, FREE... Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
