This is an open system so it cannot air lock, the oil should be free flowing all the time. Check the pump engagement as TX Jim says. Have you pulled the priority valve and checked it? The internal passages in the front transmission maybe plugged. ( Usually from excess RTV sealer used on the transmission cover.) Remove the cover pull insides out, pay particular attention to the orientation of the spring and valve. Take coil wire off and turn over engine, this will purge the oil passages to clear them out. BTW you will get oil squirting out so throw a rag in their to catch it..LOL. Let us know how you make out. JO
