I had the same thing happen on some land I own in northern NY near Fort Drum. Truck came through hanging blue insect traps up high. One guy had a saw and was trimming some trees where they hung low. All my land. No public road. These guys were from the NY Department of Conservation. They said they were instructed my road was a public-use trail. I threw them out. Who knows what will happen next.
