I can't imagine the regs on tanks have changed any... so I doubt the rate at which they've been condemned has changed any... so I call BS on that one. As far as price goes.... it's going up all the time. IIRC, it's nearly 60 bucks for a large O2 here. Actually, it's the same price for the smaller ones too. I find a 20# LP tank will usually last be for a year for all of my cutting/heating needs. Will probably burn 5 O2 or in that range. I haven't used acetylene in 10 years or more.
