You are probably pretty close with an air/fuel ratio of 12.8:1 for under load. Automotive engines richen the mixture under load , O2 sensors will read about .8V , with .5 being equal to the optimum 14.7:1 which is what they aim for at cruise and idle. You need the extra fuel for a safety margin to keep combustion chamber temp down under load, if it gets too lean under load, you melt pistons. I have been watching your progress on this for awhile , you have way more patience than I do. A dyno would make your life easier. I work in a Ford dealership and curse the new technology some days , and enjoy my old tractors for their technological simplicity. You seem to be doing just the opposite. Good luck on your project.
