Depends on your soils and climate and your 'issues' be it weeds, dry, wet, etc.....
Drilled beans stay shorter, use more sunlight faster, and shade out weeds faster.
But they also get white mold much worse in a wet climate.
30 inch spacing has little mold issues, can yield well in a good normal year, and use one planter for everything less overhead cost. In a less than good year the weeds can come through very easy, and yields can be lower in hail or insect damage because the bushy beans don't have time to readjust to bad conditions.
Often a 15 inch row is a best of both worlds setup.
