Working on equipment for a living, I see how many folks treat rented equipment. True there are folks that treat the machine like their own, but just as many, or more, that simply don't give a crap about it. That said, I can't give you a price for the rental, but I will go with Delta Red and say I wouldn't rent out something like that. Now IF you do rent it, insure you have an ironclad contract with the person stating who is responsible for repairs should it be damaged while in their use. Don't think just because it's a friend, and ya'll have never had a disagreement about anything, that things will be taken care of. PUT IT IN WRITING. I hate to say that, but I didn't do what I'm telling you, and loaned a "friend" two items. Now one is missing, and believed stolen, and the other is damaged beyond repair. Unless he decides to make things right, and I do have collateral of his to give him some incentive to do the right thing, but if he doesn't, I'm out nearly $1500 to replace my stuff because all we had was a 'handshake deal' for him to use the items.
