I'm sure they will grow. It just may reduce the production a little bit due to crowding of plants.
It's like trees (or any plant)... Plant one by itself and see how big it becomes... plant two side by side and their eventual combined size will about equal the one tree that had room to allow for it's full potential growth. BUT all still do grow and produce seed.
