I think the tone of advice has been pretty well established here, but I'll add my two cents anyway. Unless you use your tractor and you operate it, no deal. If you want to be a nice neighbor and do it for a pittance or for no charge, that's between you and him. But you operate the equipment and eliminate the possiblity of some "friend" ruining your life with a lawsuit or smashing your equipment and then sticking you with the repair bill.
