Hi In North America Agco pulled the plug on importing new ones. The dealers are still around that sold them new. the ones in Canada are anyway. The tractors in the states took a real bath when that happened 6 year old tractors lost about $20.000 over night. I was offered some real good deals on them but the bank or finance, wouldn't touch them from the states, so had to buy in Canada, kinda annoyed me a little.
Got a 6400 2000 year with 7500 hours on and a 960 quickie loader/attachments . paid $35.000 18 months ago. This one was made in the Finnish factory. some are Brazilian built that may be the Massey one.they are the 900 series valtra lighter type tractors. Mines built like a tank, you'd snap the loader clean off before you hurt the tractor!. I am very happy with mine, a friend has 3 of them he beats the crap out off I has 10.000 hrs and has only had a clutch as it's only major repair. I figured if they worked for him I would be fine with it,and looking after it. Had the odd stupid small problems as to be expected on a tractor 14 years old. I fixed it my self and had no problems getting parts from the dealer here in Canada.
Mine was a ways cheaper than a worn out Deere 6400 series with 10.000 hrs and all the costs of fixing that pile of junk 3 months after buying it.
A few guys got them round here and are mad they can't get a new one now it's time to trade. They have informed Agco if they wanted a F------ Massey they would of bought one before the Finnish Valtra. Regards Robert

I really hate to see a good tractor being treated that way, but not being able to start it without a 30 minute point filing ritual every time contributed to its demise. If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
