Lots of Valmets here. They are selling good all over Scandinavia. Probably number one in Norway and Sweden and are considered good tractors here. Used Valtras for sale usually have many hours on them and they are priced better than many other brands. They used to be Valmet. Valmet is a big Finnish company in the steel industry. I think they own a ship yard as well and one of the Saabs that I owned was assembled in a Valmet factory. For some time the tractors were Volvo BM Valmet. That was when Volvo went out of the farm tractor business. When Valmet sold their tractor division to AGCO they changed the name to Valtra.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
