One would think in the area of US produced beef, if it is say graded choice that there would not be a great difference in the meat quality other than freshness. So meat purchased at WM,Kroger, sam club,IGA or wherever should be that same quality if you are comparing the same grade (choice) at each store. If you buy lower grade meat at WM or sam club then it won't taste as good since your are in a different quality grade.Homegrown beef may give an advantage in one knows how fresh it is,whether it was grain finished or not and how you doctored the animal thru out it's life. Most of the population can't produce homegrown so they rely on USDA grade standards and past buying experiences. Or past restaurant experiences.
