George, I bought a MF65 last summer. It's was the competition, according to some of the tests of the day, to the Ford 800 among others. Now the 800 was a bit ahead of your Jubilee, but comparing it to my Ford 800 I find the Massey to be worlds and worlds ahead of the Ford. Of course Ford was building low cost economy tractors in those days, so it sort of figures the Massey would be a cut above. Both are good rigs, but the Massey is much more refined. And these souls I see bad mouthing the Continental engine have obviously never been around one. VERY nice for a gas engine.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
