Went to a local dealer, & priced one on Friday. 9960 (89 PTO HP). I commend the sales person for letting me know early in the sales pitch that the new 60 series with the latest mandated government emission standards is at best a pain to keep running correctly. Also admitted that the previous 40 series tractors got better fuel economy than the new ones. Said people that run them more than a few minutes below 1100 RPM even semi - often experience computerized automatic engine shutdowns because of the emissions. When that happens, it means the tractor has to go in the shop to get it running again. He even told that just in shipping the tractors to the dealer has, & still does knock the fuel injectors out of alignment causing emission problems which once again kill the engine.
He did say it might be corrected in a new model year; but for now makes them unreliable tractors at best. He even told me if I could get buy with less HP; then go with a new 7040 that has no emissions problems, or a used larger tractor in the 40 series. Said he'd love to sell me a new tractor; but realistically cant sell a reliable tractor!
All the manufactures are now making these new T4 engines by law, & all are having problems according to Him. Not every tractor; but far more than normal.

The window was dirty and I was driving into the evening sun. It was hard to see and it was my first pass down the field. I got the tractor so stuck that the underside of the tractor was resting on the ground. My uncle wanted
