444 MH Power Steering Prob.

I am restoring my 444LP. It has factory power steering.
It uses the same live hydraulics as the implemnt lift system.
It is very difficult to steer. Does anyone have any experience with
where I should start troubleshooting? The pump is putting
out good pressure, because the loader has tremendous lifting power.
Any ideas?
