I have mom"s old 350D, younger brothers had fathers 350D as wedding present. Continental Engines instead of IHC to meet market competition, decent design for the time but replaced after about 4000 (5000?) units made with the 460 series diesel that was IHC made. Parts were/are available if you can come up with the money and can wait for delivery. Operating? -think of a H with power of M and real good fuel economy for days work per tank. 350 with fast hitch and touch control could do a lot of general work , switch equipment easier than 3 pt hitch of Ford and the JDs of that time mid/late 1950s. Starting drill is simple, push in glow plug heat button and count slowly a Rudolph Diesel memory minute- once in English for "warm" days and again in German for "cold" days then push starter for 10 seconds. If doesn"t start- repeat heat and count, starter- usually starts second time. If not , a splash of gasoline-not ether- in aircleaner tube will get a couple cylinders fired and engine turning to fire other 2 with gas vapor and injected diesel. Mom"s old one made a great garden and hay maker tractor. RN
