Thank you for clarifing.I know the system(s) are not cheap.I have a neighbor down the road who is 100% solar/generator(alternative power).He chose NOT to hook to the grid. He likes it,but has had a few problems,the biggest of which was he didnt have enough batterys.Added a few(?) and all the problems seem to have been fixed.I admire him(and you too) for his resolve to be Self sufficent.Other folks in the more remote areas have similar systems.
