: CAN ANYONE TELL ME A FAIR PRICE TO OFFER SOMEONE APRICE ON THIS SAID TRACTOR,DOESN'T RUN, SOME RUST AND IN WEATHER BUT ALL INTACT ::First read the article in the ARCHIVE section of this website about buying your first tractor. I own two tractors and articles such as this are always helpful to me. I want anyones insight into buying old tractors. If it will not run, you cannot test any of the operating systems ( brakes, steering, hydraulics,or transmission and final drive) If this is the case, then your price must be nearer to "scrap" price. There could be major defects. Don't rely on the owner to either know what is wrong or necessarily be truthful in this matter. Next, you must check the conditions of what you CAN see( sheet metal, lights, guages, oil condition, rust in radiator, look in fuel tank for rust or holes) One hidden problem is a cracked block. Price range maybe $500. to $2500 or more. P.S. check for sloppy welding repairs (the owner may have been too "cheap" to properly maintain this machine)--Price drops!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
