pete black, That figures.lol. I sure wish we had your weather growing season, as we lost our peach trees. We had a three year growth on them, wham come that nasty winter this year, killed them both, we have one left and it to will probably croak. SIL drives truck and picks up fresh peaches from your neck of the woods and Georgia and brings them back up when he can, they sure are tasty. We might try some Bing cherry trees for replacement of our dead peach trees, sure like them too.If you can't beatem, join em.lol.
We cut back on our tomatoes this year, only have 8 tomatoes, 4 peppers, 4 cabbage, 8 broccoli plants. We put in 13 sweet potatoes (Georgia Jet), one year before last they grew to 4 lb one and a lot of 2-3 lb ones. Been eating the ones my wife canned from the garden all winter long . Tryed a small pumpkin patch this year,so we can watch for the great pumpkin to appear.lol. Thanks again for the swell post. Regards, LOU
