flying belgian, 10 Yrs in the panhandle with Tractors, trucks, Irrigation wells....Hot Always Never cold Have the plug already loose, shut engine down, Pull key is it applies, spin the plug out and get a really good flush, let stand till engine is cold, drop the filter. Reverse the process plug, filter fill with oil, crank a few revolution to get some pressure then ON the Ignition and the engine starts cold with some Oil pressure in the system! I always drop the pan first, Wash it out, Drop oil pump and clean screen,.. button it all back together and do my best to follow the above directions! Later, John A.
