So I had to replace the starter on my newly acquired 8N (keep in mind I'm new to this and this is my first tractor). I go ahead and replace the solenoid since it's off. Like an idiot I didn't think about making sure the solenoid was a 12V and sure enough it was a 6V and it's fried. My question are the starters voltage specific or should I be ok after replacing the solenoid with the correct one?
