Like others have said already, when the machines are too old, and the material hasn't been digitalized, and/or if a hard copy isn't available, microfiche still works just as good as it did when it was the top of the line thing. That being the case, I've got a reader and quite a few of the cards to go with it, mainly GMC/Detroit diesel and Allison transmissions, along with some other misc stuff.
That said, I'd be interested to see what all you had when you get the opportunity to catalog everything. One of these days I might get time to catalog everything I've got in the way of manuals. Unfortunately, for now, I just got done moving everything and haven't even had a chance to organize, much less catalog. Heck, between the manuals, and old parts books (Like the parts houses used to have) I got around a hundred boxes of books, so it might take me a while...
