I don't think so, The cops and game warden said that they had checked all the counties around for people who had animals like that and found they were all accounted for. This one was wild for sure and it was never found. A friend of mine his farm house was less than 400 yards from ware I spotted it and killed and ate that buck on his farm. My uncle lived 1/2 mile east of the site and lost a calf the next night, Insurance paid for the calf because of the game wardens report. It was very unnerving to say the least for some time after that happened. That is something you see in the zoo, NOT jumping the road in front of you! I know it sure scared the crap out of me seeing it in real life not 20 feet away with nothing but a windshield betweens us. That is something you never expect to see in farm country in SW Ohio in your lifetime. Bandit
