All the smaller operations around me have shut down over the last several years. I wish there was someone like you in my area. My kids are young teens now, so they don't need me around the house constantly after work. I'd love to work part-time on a small setup, mostly to learn about crops and animals. I don't know hardly any of it, but I like working and I like fixing things. I'd love to have half your knowledge of farming. Kinda rubs me the wrong way to see all the smaller guys falling by the wayside and the big operators only seem to care about squeezing money out of the ground.
