we don't store much fuel on the farm not cost effective enough were only a couple of miles from a distributor so we only purchase a couple days supply in a portable tank,i understand how condensation works but all but one of our tractors have glass sediment bowls as well as the bulk tank filter if you get water in the fuel it will show up in the bowls the one I was talking about had only a few drops in it and the rusted parts were submerged in fuel all the time,i've also dealt with fuel algae through the years it can be from a slim to black coffee grinds consistency ,but I've never seen metal rust submerged in diesel fuel as far as ethanol contamination from switching fuels what kind of ascitic fluid does it make
