Thanks for the photos Bruce; The reality is that (around here anyway)there are many of these barns of the same generation, that is to say built within 25 yrs of each other and now their time has come. Todays farming practices to not lend themselves to these buildings being useful and once unused they go downhill fast. I sure hate to see them go as I spent my youth working in and around this type of building. Todays barns don't convey the same warmth and security as their predecessors do. Tough to say but the modern barns of today do eminate the "factory" feel.
