That post down below by shoe has me hoping it wasn't him. There's a lake a quarter mile north between my house and the oldest son's. I saw the water rescue squad coming from that way late this morning when I was coming back from checking that hay. I didn't give it a second thought. I had just started raking and the wife came down to the field and told me our son was just here and said they pulled a car out of the lake and there was somebody in it. They didn't know how long it had been there. I guess somebody saw tracks that didn't look right and stopped. They could see the roof of the car just under the water. If you ain't from around here you'd never know that lake was that deep right there in that spot that close to the road. There are folks on the rescue squad saying they know who it was,but they can't say until they officially release the identity. Black Grand Am I guess, but I can't place it. The wife said they were reporting on the six o'clock news that there was one in Fish Lake just over west here, but unless they had their wires crossed on the location, this one wasn't it.
