Texas Bull nettle has a white flower. They are very nasty plants. If this is the first time you've seen it, you might be able to pull it up. Be very careful and wear thick, leather gloves. Tx. bull nettle spines have a poison on them which will burn and sting for 20 - 30 minutes. Spines will penetrate fabric. BTDT
We have bull nettle on our place in E. Tx. Decided to dig one up. Big, big, big thick root on that thing.
Started out with a regular shovel, then had to go to a sharp shooter. Root was still going. Got a tractor and a chain to pull it out. When I got it out root was 4 inches in diameter and 38 inches long.
We have had very good success killing them with GrazonNext.
