I can tell you this for certain. Frontline will work but you need to make sure you are buying the real thing. Last year my wife was buying frontline off ebay or somewhere because it was way cheaper than the vet. We noticed the dogs being eaten alive by fleas even though we kept putting it on regularly. I was spraying the yard, their dog boxes, baths in flea shampoo, and everything else we could think of. Finally my wife called the people that make Frontline. They wanted her to give them the Lot Number on the boxes she had bought. Sure enough they were counterfeit. The Frontline people said they were having a lot of problems with it. The boxes looked identical and everything. After getting the correct Frontline, the fleas went away and have not been back yet. Just sayin'
