I suspect you're looking at a rather narrow market. As someone else said, to most people "parade ready" means something that's too pretty to put out in the field. And also to most people owning something that's "parade ready" is taking pride in being able show off the results of their own work, and the satisfaction that comes with someone admiring your work. I, myself, would feel a bit guilty about buying a handsomely restored something or other and showing it off knowing most of the viewers would assume I had done it myself. I suspect their also would inevitably be those who would want to strike up a conversation and ask how you did this or that, and you'd have to admit you hadn't done it yourself.
I have no idea what you're selling or what you're asking for it, but in the automotive business, I saw too many people put $5,000 into a $5,000 pickup, for example, and then expect to sell it for $12,000 to not only recoup their investment, but to make a profit from it. Market forces just don't operate that way.
Frankly, I've often wondered as to the outcome of some of the tractors in the photo ads. They're nice looking tractors, but is there really someone who will pay $25,000 for a 4020 John Deere?
