Well I feel for you guys up there. That much rain this time of year is just too much, trying to make hay between mud holes is no fun. We have had it pretty nice down here in SE Ohio. Even so I fought the tuff hay all weekend to the point I wondered why I was even trying. Sun totally went away after noon yesterday, even sprinkled a few drops, but I didn't give up. The second cutting hay was completely cured out and ready to bale, so at the last minute we manage to get it baled and then stacked it all on edge crisscross with fans going and on all my wagons and trailers. We have a nice breeze this morning and no humidity, and it seems to be drying out very nicely. The good news is we saved all the leaves and it's real pretty right now. Bales are loose and will be on the light side, but that's better than junk hay.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
