I am working on a recently purchased 1965 Ford 4000 3 cyl diesel Today I started removing the seat bracket from the tractor, the front bolt was threaded into the tractor but the rear has a stem which goes down into the tractor 3 or 4 inches with a nut on top to hold the seat down Is this correct and what is it used for. Have I caused any problem or will it be OK to just put it back I can"t find anything in the IT manual Thanks
