Well that was my feeling about it too...but my wife convinced me I needed a physical (after 29 years)...and I was lucky the doc I went to did a DRE. If I would have waited another year I would probably not have much time left. Once it spreads to the lymph nodes or bones that is pretty much it. As it stands now, I may still need 8 weeks of radiation treatments. All in all, the finger was no big deal compared to what followed...I suggest every guy over the age of 45 to google prostate cancer and get informed. It is the second leading killer in men after skin cancers....
