I drive my wife's old Prius as my daily scooter. Yes, in many ways it sounds like I'm driving an sewing machine down the road. In the spring I like to trout fish each weekday morning. That comes out to about 400 miles a week; at 50.8 mpg that translates to a little less than 8 gallons. If I were using my old GMC Sierra, that same excursion would take about 21 gallons. I pocket the difference, the oil company doesn't. She gets about 44 mpg in her Prius V(Station wagon). Nothing pious about it. That gas money not spent goes elsewhere into the budget. And yes, you don't want to haul compost or manure in it; we use the truck for that stuff. Dave "I Love My H and like my Prius"
