We need more info. If equipped with a loader and if the valve is open Center or a failing closed Center . She will heat up, loose steering etc. As most service occurs at failure instead of according to the operators manual. The transmission filter will plug and then the divert valve in the transmission will cycle. This "water hammers" the pipe work and fails fittings . In fact most operators are unaware of the screen and both filters. Either the power steering valve or the rockshaft sealwill wear out over 35 years or so and how many thousand operations. Wrong connections of loaders or any other high flow hydraulic equipment will cause heating. I though the oil cooler fins were hosed clean on my tractor . After having the everything apart for cooling system service and the oil cooler was visible . The cooler was still half plugged with oily mud. Billy Bob Bubba brand oil can cause problems too. Have you put a pressure gauge on the low pressure and high pressure hydraulic systems?
