Best thing you could do is run an ad on Craigs List saying you are looking and paying cash for a nonworking 440 or 445 baler. There are a lot of them out there that have been parked for years that lost a knotter or some other issue that made them expensive to fix after round balers bcame popular. You don't want one that's been sitting outside if you are pulling the pickup head. The bearings rust and even if it will work when you first install it you'll have problems later.
I picked up a parts baler that way for $150 - paid for itself with one sprocket.
