I have a friend who is down sizing some of his equipment because of poor health, and the time it takes to maintain everything. He has what he thinks is a 1942 Caterpillar grader. I know it runs because he drove it on his property this week. He was told it worked on the Alaska highway. It is located in the Fraser Valley of BC, about 1 hour east of Vancouver. I have included a link to some pics. He loves to save equipment from the scrap dealer and he has it priced at $2,000. Scrap must be close to that. I took some pics of the tags I could see on a quick look around the machine. Is there a place on the web to sell equipment like this? He doesn't use internet so I am helping him out. By the way, if you can't read the number on the engine, it's 18P5955.
