Cook them fresh with a little bacon drippings or chunk of seasoned pork with a little salt and sugar to taste. Yum Yum! You can freeze them as soon as you shell them. Just put 'em in a freezer bag and throw them into the freezer. Do not wash until you get ready to cook them, and cook the same as fresh ones.
